The Lord's supper is celebrated at this congregation in the glad confidence that
our Lord gives into our mouths not only the bread and wine but his very body and
blood to eat and drink for the forgiveness of sins. Holy communion is a confession
of the faith which is confessed at this altar. Because of that, we ask anyone who
is not yet instructed, in doubt, or belonging to a denomination other than Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod or Lutheran Church-Canada, yet desire to receive the sacrament,
to speak with the Pastor prior to communing.
Please refer to the excerpt from Luther's Small Catechism
"The Sacrament of the Altar" for a more
detailed explanation of Holy Communion.
